Yard and estate sales are best as you can get them very cheap. My friend and I just got new ones hardly used from an older woman. So nice. Also sometimes you can find them abandoned if lucky. They usually just need new batteries

Sometimes insurance will cover it but they can be expensive. The batteries are the big price over time. Heavier one gets more battery usage gets drained

Definitely recommend the used options for sure. Worked loosely with that field and it's such a cash grab. Scooter shopping should be the least stressful experience.
